Yes, I have dropped my 2018 GSXS-750 and the crash bar took the damage. I attempted a full lock right turn from a stop but I stalled the bike and it dropped on the right side. Absolutely no hit on the muffler guard or foot pegs. Picked it back up and it started immediately, so the tip-over sensor did not trip.

There is basically no option to protect the bike for the 2018 model, other than engine and case sliders, but with the crash bar, it is no longer necessary.

I would have loved a template to help trace and cut the side fairings more neatly. Well worth the wait for quality Japanese engineering
