今回はリバウンドストロークの意味を考えます。 サスペンションはスプリングで車体を支える様に出来ているので 上に乗っている重量により走らない時から沈んでいます。 その沈んでいる距離の事をリバウンドストロークと言いい、 このストロークの使い方次第でマシンの感じが変わってきます。 ではリバウンドストロークは何の為にあるのか? それはまず第1にギャップを通過する為にあると考えられます。 普通ギャップと言うと凸の事を思い浮かべますよね? それとは逆に凹の場合にサスが伸びて路面に追従する為に残されている訳です。 またタイヤが滑った時などの追従性に影響を与えます。 このリバウンドストロークを全ストローク中のどの辺りに設定するか? それがセッティングの最初に要求されます。 つまり0G 1G 1G’の関係ですね! 大体ロードスポーツの標準的なサスストロークは120?〜140?の間にあります。 その中で30?〜50?位のリバウンドストロークを得られる位のプリロードに 合わせるのがロードバイクでは標準的です。 これが0G−(マイナス)1G’と言う事です。 このリバウンドストロークが多いとマシンの動きは遅くなり、少ないと早くなります。 しかしタイヤが滑ってしまった時には少ないと追従し切れなくてスリップダウンし易くなります。 また伸びていく力を得る為にはある程度以上の反力、つまりプリロードがかかっていないと 伸び切る寸前に力を失ってしますのです。 リバウンドストロークや残ストローク、そして良い位置で走れる様にスプリングを変えたり プリロードを変えたりして、良いハンドリング、追従性、そしてパワーをかけた時のディメンションを調整バランスさせて求めていくわけです。 一つの例として*車高調を利用すれば、1G’の位置を変えずにリバウンドストロークの量を変えたり出来る訳です。 かなり分かり辛くなっちゃったけど、ごめんなさい〜 また後で書き直すかも・・・・ http://zrx-drz.at.webry.info/200607/article_9.html
