Introducing my new partner

Introducing our new partner.

This is the 2023 model of the Kawasaki Z650.

I have two touring bikes, an NC750X for long distance touring and a CB125R for short distance rides.
I wanted a bike for medium distance riding, so I found a used one that was just right and bought it.

The main purpose of use is to enjoy medium distance, overnight touring on mountain passes, and maybe even participate in gymkhana!
The 180-degree crank engine has rich low and mid-range power and runs smoothly. The body is lightweight and compact for this class.
The frame is flexible and the tires are the perfect size of 120/160.
The first gear ratio is short, so gymkhana is possible with the normal secondary reduction.
The various performance features are just right for me. I guess that’s why I chose the Z650.
As for the specifications, I set up the ECU, front and rear suspension, and position, but everything else is basically the same.
Our goal is to create a standard-based machine that can be used in all situations, from touring to gymkhana.
It will never be made into a gymkhana specification.
How fast can you get with this spec? It would be a fun challenge.

Whether it’s the ZRX1200R, KX112, CB750 or Z250SL, they are all expressed by a rider named Sakuta.
The Z650 will also be one of those models, so we look forward to it.
