Okinawa Autobahn Cup Motogymkhana Tournament

On December 22nd, I participated in the Moto Gymkhana competition held by Autovan, a shop in Okinawa.
The tournament was held with 56 participants, including A-class Ikeda from the Kanto region. B-class Ema, C2 Ikeda, and C1 Honma also participated.
And since Ramkhana, which broadcasts Moto Gymkhana live, will also be broadcasting, I'm sure many people across the country and around the world have already seen it.

The organizers, Mr. Shiroma from Autoban, and the club members are used to it because they have participated in many races in the Kanto area.
Overall, the participants had a relaxed and airy atmosphere, and it was a pleasant experience to spend some time in the Okinawan atmosphere.

Just before the A class start of the first heat, light rain began to fall, turning the originally slippery surface into something more like a skating rink.
The A class players who got the most falls all fell over… The Kanto guys who saw this got a bit scared.
However, the road surface dried quickly and by the time the S-Class was running the grip seemed to have recovered considerably.
Even so, the limiter still kicked in, so I decided to attack carefully. But the road was still slippery.
The time I got was 1 minute 20.4 seconds. I was able to finish the first heat in first place.

Heat 2
I made a mistake in my gear selection in the first heat, but changed it for the second heat.
Ikeda had run ahead of me and had a time of 1 minute 18.891 seconds, so everyone was really excited.
I was fired up to start!!! But then I realized that the gears were not in and I couldn't start. I was in an embarrassing situation of revving the engine.
I felt like I'd messed up, but since it wasn't a signal start, it was safe and I started over.
Try to attack as much as you can.
The time he achieved was 1 minute 18.889 seconds, a narrow victory of just 2/1000ths.

A very fun Autobahn Cup Gymkhana!!

And then at night we had a party! It was so much fun.
It has been decided that next year too, the pre-event practice session will be held on December 20th and the Autobahn Cup will be held on the 21st.
How about holding the last Gymkhana tournament of the year in warm Okinawa?
I plan to participate again next year. I'm looking forward to it!
