Second gym training, Z650 setup

I brought the Z650 to my second gymkhana practice session.
Based on the data from the last time, I shortened the final by two teeth and lowered the seat by about 20 mm.
The Final two-gear short bike can be enjoyed on public roads, and the seat is thick enough that it doesn’t hurt your butt.
When I actually tried it out, I was impressed and it was sufficient.

It’s a sass set.
As you can see from the photo, the engine crank is positioned very low.
I imagine that if the vehicle height is lowered too much, it will not be able to turn.
So, I thought I should first try to set up the rear suspension by raising its height.
With the standard vehicle height (Nitron standard), it felt like the rear end moved too much when banking.
To balance the front and rear, it seemed like the balance was achieved by applying a rear pull load.
I decided to raise the ride height and adjust the preload. The damping is also 2-3 notches tighter than when driving on public roads.
The steering characteristics of the front suspension also tended to be delayed, so we extended the front suspension protrusion and adjusted the preload accordingly.
The damping should also be tightened 2 to 3 notches, just like the rear.

As we worked through the setup, the time dropped from an initial 1 minute 46 seconds to a final 42.5 seconds.

Unless they can shave about 4 seconds off this time they won’t be able to get into the A-class winning range, but is it a good enough setup for driving on public roads?
Above all, it’s fun to run, and when I watch the video I can see that I’m running in the way that I like, so I’m happy with it.

I don’t think it will produce any results, but I’m starting to think it might be interesting to have it debut this year.
