After spending the first half of the season, I was able to confirm the potential of the KX112,
When I try to ride the Dunlop TT93GP, I feel a bit uneasy about the fact that it has the performance of a touring tire and is challenging the Q5 team.
CST would increase by about 3% from here!! Just kidding. “I’m still a kid at heart.”
So I’m wondering what to do in the second half of 2024.
In competitions where I can use CST, I will ride the KX112 + CST.
I started to think that it might be a good idea to try out the new Z650 I’ve just started building for the Dunlop-restricted competitions.
The Z650 is a road-going machine after all, so there’s no weight reduction!
What to change
① Position: “Handlebar replacement and seat processing? Footpegs are basically standard.”
② Front and rear suspension “Already changed, spring rate selection in progress”
3) Brakes: “I will never switch to a single disc! I’m against it.” The main focus is to disable ABS.
④ ECU rewrite “This has also been changed”
⑤Final: “Is it possible to set it to two short settings within the range of what can be driven on public roads?”
As for the Z650, I basically won’t be tinkering with it any further.
Second Half
Should I try the KX112 + 93GP and feel frustrated? Or should I go back to basics and try the Z650 + Q5A since I’ll be using poor performance tires anyway?
Should I aim higher with the new machine and go for the Z650 + Q5? I’ll have to think about it for a while.
