Z250SL Gymchaya Cup

I participated in the second round of the 2024 Jimuchaya Cup.
This time, the borrowed class will be the Z250SL and the main class will be the KX112.

Three weeks after restarting development, I enjoyed the Jimu Chaya Cup on my Z250SL for the first time in a long while.

As a rider, I felt that the engine and chassis were stable when riding, unlike previous Z250SLs.

Since it is a borrowed class, it is not ranked in the overall ranking, but in terms of time, it is 6th overall, 103.36% of the top time.
There were still some areas where the extremely slow engine feeling meant I couldn’t push myself to the limits, but I think it was a good enough time at this stage.
With the single-cylinder engine not idling at all, I was worried that one wrong move could lead to stalling.
I think it still takes some getting used to this area.
I think all single people take measures like using Recruit etc.
I’m trying to solve this issue with my technique and setup.
I wonder if the fuel mixture is a little too rich at mid to high speeds? But it’s not in a condition that would cause any problems, so I’ll call it fine.

I think the suspension is in a pretty good place, but I feel like it needs a little more improvement.

From now on, there won’t be any competitions where I’ll be racing the Z250SL, so I’d like to switch the tires to Q5A and use it as a practice vehicle.
It’s a difficult vehicle to use in gymkhana, so it’s good practice.
I’m really happy that I was able to tame the engine characteristics and handling of the previously unruly Z250SL and turn it into a docile machine.
It was this weekend.

By the way, the KX112’s performance was terrible in the first heat due to fatigue from the Z250SL, but in the second heat, although there was a gap, it seems like he was still carrying around the feeling of the Z250SL a little bit.
