Muscle training

I am now 43 years old. . I'm totally in the middle of a middle class (^ _ ^;)
I am confident in my physical strength and I do not feel a decline in physical strength yet
I began muscle training since around 2 months ago after thinking about the future.
At first, I did it properly every day including 40 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, 60 squats, etc.
If you bought a book of muscle training, the real way of doing it is totally different ~~~~ (^ _ ^;)
The maximum muscular strength is cut out in about 8 to 12 times! ! And muscle training needs a rest day of 2 to 3 days! !
However, even if it says that the maximum muscular strength will be done in 12 times, there is no such instrument, so I'm thinking what to do
Push up your feet on a table and put the weight on your shoulder! ! But I can make it 20 times …
Do you still need authentic equipment? When I thought I found something interesting!
There was training with thick rubber.
When load is applied to push-ups with rubber, arms will rise completely perhaps about 10 times.
Abdominal muscle is OK and I found a good thing ~ ~
I want to change my running next year with a little more muscle strength ~
I wanted to be cool and I was old.
